Our Campus

For centuries artists have drawn inspiration from their environment, APGS recognises the importance of the interaction between the quality of performance produced and the environment and has chosen surroundings to complement this belief.

Currently situated in Harris Park, the APGS campus resides in an elegant heritage building surrounded by beautiful gardens and lawns. Images of Haydn and Beethoven are embossed in the stunning stained-glass windows of the grand staircase further enhancing the environment to create an enticing and artistic atmosphere for our student’s performing arts studies.

In 2012, APGS will relocate to Broadway in the heart of the Sydney education district; a vibrant and bustling area packed with cafes, eateries, convenient shopping and entertainment venues, and located only a short distance from the Sydney CBD. The move will offer our students an enhanced education and arts rich environment along with easier access and more public transport options.

The campus will include a magnificent auditorium, spacious classrooms, computer lab, arts facilities, recording studios and purpose built music and dance studios. Specialist, state of the art facilities and equipment will provide students with the best environment to train in music, dance, drama, graphic design and production.

The location is further enhanced by beautiful surroundings, with Victoria Park and Lake Northam right on the doorstep. Providing an ideal location to nurture students educational and artistic development needs and also for hosting performances and community events.

The Broadway campus of APGS will be easily accessible by public transport, with regular bus services along Parramatta Rd, and only a ten minute walk from Central railway station. The move will take place once relevant approvals have been completed.
