An exciting, innovative school for students with a passion for the creative and performing arts. Established in 2005, The Australian Performing Arts Grammar School is open to students of artistic ability, dedicated to nurturing talent and encouraging the highest quality in performance and academic excellence.
The school is a boutique institution, designed specifically to meet the needs of young people who, in addition to their academic studies, desire to focus on Music, Drama, Dance and/or Visual Arts. While there is a focus on the performing and creative arts, there is also emphasis on academic excellence.

Facilities
Located in and around a heritage-listed building with a long history of music and education, APGS features include a computer room, recording studio, dance studio, rehearsal and in-house performance space, along with multiple practice and recital rooms.
Performance venues are hired according to production specifications and APGS students also perform at corporate functions, local community festivals, awards ceremonies, eisteddfods and charity events.
