An exciting, innovative school for students with a passion for the creative and performing arts. The Australian International Performing Arts High School is open to students of artistic or sporting ability, dedicated to nurturing talent and encouraging the highest quality in performance and academic excellence.
The school is a boutique institution, designed specifically to meet the needs of young people who, in addition to their academic studies, desire to focus on Music, Drama, Dance and/or Visual Arts. While there is a focus on the performing and creative arts, there is also emphasis on academic excellence, and students benefit greatly from interaction with the tertiary music programmes run on campus.
The school seeks to train and to educate, to develop talent and to inspire artistry in each student. Extension programs run in Art and Design, Music Theatre or Sports. Elite sports students find the timetable structure an ideal design to allow a balance between their heavy sports training schedules with academic achievement.

Located in newly completed classrooms around a heritage-listed building with a long history of music and education, AIPAH�s features include a university-linked library, computer room, digital recording studio, dance studio, rehearsal and in-house performance space, multiple practice and recital rooms and lecture theatres.
Performance venues are hired according to production specifications and AIPAH students also perform at corporate functions, local community festivals, awards ceremonies, eisteddfods and charity events.
AIPAH is also able to share the facilities of the Australian International Conservatorium of Music and AIPAH students who demonstrate the appropriate ability and maturity are able to work with the academics, teachers and tertiary students of this sister institution.

AIPAH is an ideal institution through which to build a network of contacts in the creative arts. Outward looking and aware that the arts and entertainment industries turnover billions of dollars, AIPAH brings to the students working professionals with the energy and vision to make projects happen.
A weekly class for ideas encourages students to take responsibility for the development of their own creative work. Producers, directors, writers, film makers and performers are regularly invited to share their stories with the students, balancing inspiration with the awareness of the perspiration it takes to forge a career in the arts.
Links with other training organizations are nurtured as a priority as AIPAH opens pathways to further learning, whether technical, financial or artistic.
